Western Shipping Line has an immediate opening for an experienced Social Media/Technology coordinator in Torrance, CA.
Position: Social Media/ Technology Coordinator
Location: Torrance, CA
Reports to: Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt
Approximate Monthly salary: $3,500- $4,000
Working hour: 9am – 5pm (Mon – Fri)
OVERVIEW:
Western Shipping Line is looking for an immediate hire for a full-time social media/technology coordinator. Will serve as the point person with assisting customers with navigating the proprietary web-based app. Will manage app with the addition and deletion of products, item descriptions, promotions and sales. Will advertise new products as well as manage all posts on company’s website and accounts on all pertinent social media platforms. Must have Micro Soft and data entry skills.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT ARE LIMITED TO:
- Competent with managing multiple social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok
- Ability to write compelling, engaging and descriptive posts to engage customers, regarding
products to be sold on app.
- Ability to troubleshoot and communicate effectively to management and problems found with app.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years of work experience
- Previous experience managing a company’s social media accounts
- Understanding of the luxury seafood and beverage market
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
- Previous work experience as a customer service role is preferred (not mandatory)
